“To Whom Much is Given, Much is Required”…Or Whatever That Bible Verse Says…
Not going to lie.
This week almost broke me.
Well, let’s wind that back.
It started off really awesome.
Firm for the Culture was invited by JP Morgan Chase and the Golden State Warriors to the African American Small Business Heritage Night. #MakingMoves…
And it did not disappoint.
….And then, we went straight from the Bay Area to Chicago for the American Bar Association Tech Show. #ChiTownStandUp….
It was dynamic to give a presentation on Leveraging Technology to Provide Justice to Diverse Business Owners & Entrepreneurs….
But then, life…well, “life-d.”
Between missed connecting flights, more emails than I can imagine, and trying to eat right, exercise, run a firm, and still drink my water and mind my business…
This week almost broke me.
In a recent Linkedin post, one of our dynamic clients, Christine Edwards, reminded us of why we do what we do:
Christine’s journey was far from easy…
After years of leading Amplify Charlotte, Christine made the critical decision to pivot her trademark into Civility Localized, particularly after Firm for the Culture shared that her initial brand could not be federally protected.
After almost two years of working together to ease into her new brand, Christine finally got the registration she deserved:
Here’s what she said about her journey with us:
In our initial discussion, Firm for the Culture gave me everything I needed to know in order to make the decision to protect my brand.
Their consistent messaging was so clear that it stayed in my mind until I was ready to make the move!
She pivoted to gain the benefits of her purpose…
Especially when it wasn’t easy to do so…
So…you’re probably wondering: What’s the Trademark tip in this?
It’s simple: Pivot the Brand so you can Protect the Brand.
As business owners, we face times where we can either give up or press in.
And today, Christine reminded us to press in.
Thank you for the needed encouragement to keep on going.
