Firm for the Culture | I'm Walking on Water.
You prayed for the level you're navigating now. I am what a Trademark Attorney looks like.
There was a time I was scared to even visualize the life I am living now:
I am a highly recognized intellectual property law firm owner
I have a dynamic team by my side
I am a top law school graduate (Go Berkeley Bears!)
I recently became a First Generation home owner
After years of therapy, I can say I healed from much of the trauma of my past
And if you’re a part of this community, I am confident you too are walking in much of the abundance you could only visualize or dream of in prior years.
Now, you’re probably wondering, what does this have to do with entrepreneurship?
I am so glad you asked.
After last week’s conversation on self-sabotage and the upper limit, countless founders and colleagues confided in me, sharing their stories of feeling scared even when everything was actually going pretty well.
They recounted how afraid they were of “mucking it all up.”
They didn’t know if they were actually “prepared for this level.”
They didn’t think they had what it took to navigate this stage of success.
If you feel anything like this, this post is for you.
Here are three reminders to guide you in rising to higher and higher levels of your potential and purpose.

"How can I identify the right tasks to delegate in order to maximize team productivity?"
"What strategies can I use to ensure tasks are completed effectively when delegated?"
"How can I overcome any fears or hesitations about delegating crucial tasks?"
"What are the best practices for setting up backups and safety nets when delegating tasks?"
…then this workshop is for you.
Join me and Jessica Janusz, an experienced UX Designer and Project Manager, as she provides tips to delegate effectively, have sufficient backups in place, and drive maximum productivity.

Reminders to grace yourself when reaching your upper limit.
Whether it is through vision boarding, manifesting, or praying, setting your intentions on the next level of your calling commandeered the universe to give you the very thing you’re engaging at this very moment.
You’ve set the goal to build the business you have now.
You’ve manifested the level of mental and physical health you are walking in now.
You’ve “vision-boarded” the relationship you have now.
You asked for it, and you got it.
Now it’s time to live fully in it.
Don’t overthink the fact that you’re walking on water.
Just walk.
If you’re anything like me, you overprepare and still have the audacity to believe you’re not prepared enough.
In my instance, I’ve studied intellectual property licensing for years, taken countless classes about intellectual property licensing and contract drafting, and even gave a presentation about intellectual property licensing and social impact at the Goldman Sachs Headquarters in New York City.
So now when I am receiving requests to review and draft licensing and service agreements, I still have the urge to refer potential clients out, fearing that I do not have what it takes to help them navigate the intricacies of such legal matters.
But, as a mentor told me, eventually you’ll have to stop “preparing” and start doing.
Perhaps you’ve spent months preparing for that marathon.
It’s time to run.
You’ve practiced your keynote speech over and over again in front of the mirror.
It’s time to speak.
You’ve revised your business plan for the umpteenth time.
It’s time to launch.
You’re more than prepared. You’re ready.
As my Godmom used to say, “Baby, you ain’t seen nothing yet.”
One of the quickest ways to ground myself as I reach my own upper limit is to remind myself I’ve only scratched the surface of what I can accomplish.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve surpassed the goals you envisioned even a decade ago.
So why stop there?
There’s so much more left to uncover in this dynamic experience called life.
So instead of asking, “am I ready for this?
Ask, “Universe, what else you got for me?”
Let’s keep going so we can find out together.
Welcome to this new and dynamic stage of your life.
Will it come with challenges? You bet.
But challenges are normal; they are not an indictment of the purpose placed on the inside of you.
So as you continue to navigate this next level of your greatness, I hope you remind yourself that you fully deserve it.
We at Firm for the Culture are here to guide, support, and walk alongside you every step of the way.
